Brand new series ‘Forensics: Crash Scene Investigation’ goes inside the life changing incidents encountered by Yorkshire’s forensic collision investigators as they use the latest technology and detective work to find out what went tragically wrong.
Each episode is a unique insight into how the Crash Investigators assess the scene of a collision, gradually piecing together what’s happened. They are the voice of the victim and often the only ones that can provide answers to families with answers of what happened to their loved ones.

Season 1, Episode 01 –
After receiving a 999 call, North Yorkshire’s officers respond to a serious car crash 20 miles north-east of York. At the scene, a middle-aged man is found thrown from an overturned car in a layby at the side of a busy country road on a dark winter’s evening.

Dropping the tokens down a choice of four shoots, they hope to knock piles of them off a moving shelf – and the more they collect, the greater the prize fund. The player who has won the least amount of money is then eliminated, and this continues round by round, until only one player remains. When only one player is remaining, the player is given a special coin which is dropped into the machine.
