This week, three of Scotland’s finest chefs do battle for a chance to cook at the banquet celebrating 50 years of popular music. Gordon Jones, the only newcomer, faces returners Lorna McNee and Ben Reade, who are going head to head for the second time.

Originally from north west Scotland, Gordon is a Michelin-trained chef and owner of Menu Gordon Jones in Bath, offering a surprise tasting menu that changes every day. Lorna McNee is a Scottish Chef of the Year winner and sous chef at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, the only restaurant in Scotland to hold two Michelin stars. At last year’s GBM, she narrowly missed out on taking her dessert to the banquet. Finally Ben Reade, owner of the Edinburgh Food Studio, a restaurant and food research hub experimenting with the best of Scottish produce. Ben went out during last year’s heat - this time he is determined to make it to Friday’s judging chamber.

Based on Lucy Kirkwood's Olivier Award-winning stage play of the same name, `Chimerica' follows Lee Berger, played by `American Hustle"s Alessandro Nivola, an American photojournalist who became famous from a photo he took on Tiananmen Square in 1989 of the "Tank Man", who was seen standing and holding shopping bags as he faced down a line of Chinese tanks. Years later, against the backdrop of the 2016 U.S. Presidential election, Lee's professional integrity is called into question after he's accused creating fake news by manipulating photographs. Hoping to restore his credibility, Lee sets out to find Tank Man, whom Lee is convinced is alive and living in New York City.

As the 2016 US Presidential election approaches, photojournalist Lee Berger faces accusations of creating fake news. Returning to Beijing, Lee hopes to find the truth behind his most famous photo.

Catriona Shearer brings a brand new quiz show to BBC Scotland. WonderBall is a game where excellent general knowledge, and a little bit of luck, could win one of the competing teams a £2000 jackpot. Each day, three pairs of players are allocated five numbered balls. They take turns to pick a ball at random from a pot, and must answer questions correctly to eliminate their opponents’ balls and keep their own balls in play. Because unlike bingo, unlike a lottery, it’s the last ball left at the end of the show, the ‘WonderBall’, that could win them that jackpot.
In a tantalising twist, teams also have three chances to sell one of their balls for a smaller amount of guaranteed cash.
