Kim Jong Un, the world's youngest dictator, rules the planet's most secret and repressive state. Dispatches follows Japanese undercover journalist Jiro Ishimaru on his latest trip to the country's border with China, where he secretly meets one of his trained agents, who is armed with the latest revealing footage. The programme also shows stirrings of open dissent, such as a woman running a bus service refusing to bribe a soldier and mutterings of disrespect from an official commandeered to build a railway to the supreme leader's birthplace.

More than two million people smoke cannabis in the UK, some police forces don't prosecute for possession any more, and doctors can now apply for licences to prescribe the cannabis to treat patients with certain medical conditions. Canada has just legalised it, as have several American states. So is it time to look at the evidence and assess whether UK policy needs to change? Former Met Police chief Bernard Hogan-Howe, who has always supported tough laws on cannabis, investigates for Dispatches. He visits Colorado - one of the first states in the US to legalise - and sees first-hand how the cannabis business is booming, how the state is using its quarter-of-a-billion-dollar tax dividend and discovers that some strains of cannabis on sale are six times stronger than skunk. Tape of mayor Boris Johnson to be aired by Channel 4 - Extracts from an infamous audio tape in which a youthful Boris Johnsondiscusses a plan to have a tabloid journalist beaten up are to be broadcast tomorrow for the first time.

Johnson, now mayor of London and chair of the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA), can be heard agreeing to help his fellow Old Etonian, Darius Guppy, obtain the personal details of a News of the World journalist, Stuart Collier.

Collier had been asking questions about Guppy, who talked of hiring a contact from south London to assault the journalist. The extracts will be aired in a Channel 4 Dispatches programme, The Trouble With Boris, which its producers say raises serious questions about the mayor.

During the 21-minute conversation, in the summer of 1990, Johnson, then a journalist on the Daily Telegraph, leads Guppy to believe that he would try to obtain Collier's home telephone number so that his home address could be traced. Guppy, who declares he believes himself to be a "potential psychopath", gives "his word of honour" that Johnson's role in the assault will remain undetected.
